IITM Scientific Officer Recruitment 2024: The Indian Institute of Tropical Meteorology (IITM), Pune has recently released a notification and announced recruitment for SCIENTIFIC OFFICER GRADE – I posts. Age Limit 

• The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation cum absorption shall not exceed 56 years, as on the closing date of receipt of the application.

ELIGIBILITY CONDITION

Officers under the Central Government, the State Government, Union territories, Autonomous or Statutory
organizations, Public Sector Undertakings, Universities or recognized Research Institutions:

• (i) Holding analogous posts in Library services regularly in the parent cadre or department;
  OR
• (ii) With two years’ service rendered after appointment to the post regularly in Level-8 (Rs. 47600-151100) in the Pay Matrix or equivalent in the parent cadre or department; and
• Only Indian Nationals are eligible and need to apply. The place of posting is in Pune with transfer liability to any part of India. 

Essential:

• (i) Bachelor’s Degree in Library Science from a recognized University;
• (ii) Two years of professional experience in a Library including Public Relations, Documentation and Bibliographical Work; OR Post Graduate Degree in Library Science from a recognized University

Important Instruction

The facility of submitting online applications will commence on 20/05/2024 by 05.00 p.m. and close on 18/06/2024 by 6.00 p.m.

 After submitting the online application candidates must send a hard copy of their application by Registered Post/ Speed Post only along with all necessary documents to the below-mentioned address and should reach the latest by 05.00 p.m. on 22/06/2024 failing which the online application will be treated as rejected.

INSTRUCTIONS TO FILL ONLINE FORM

Candidates should upload educational certificates, cast certificates, experience certificates in their CV, Detailed resume (.pdf only, max size 4 MB) and photo (.jpg/.png/.gif max size 100 KB) mandatory to be uploaded at the end of the form. Also, make sure that your filename does not have more than one dot.

 After filling up the form, the applicant may preview the form before submitting, it in a popup window and make changes, if any. Unless the applicant clicks the submit button at the end of the form, his/her application is not submitted. Once submitted, no changes can be made to the form.
