Southern Railway Recruitment 2024: Southern Railway ONLINE applications are invited from eligible candidates for engagement of Apprentices for imparting training under the Apprentices Act, 1961 in the designated trades at various Divisions/Workshops/Units in the jurisdiction of Southern Railway for 2860 Slots. No other mode of submission is entertained. Candidates residing in the following locations/areas falling within the Geographical Jurisdiction of Southern Railway alone are eligible to apply. Applications complete in all respects should be submitted only ONLINE till 28 February 2024 17:00 hrs. of the closing date. Application Fee
अनारक्षित(UR), आर्थिक रूप से कमजोर वर्ग(EWS) अन्य पिछड़ा(OBC) उम्मीदवारों के लिए आवेदन शुल्क 100/- रुपये होगा। महिला उम्मीदवारों, अनुसूचित जाति (SC), अनुसूचित जनजाति (ST), विकलांग (PwD) और पूर्व सैनिक (ESM) को और आरक्षित श्रेणियों से संबंधित उम्मीदवारों को परीक्षा के लिए आवेदन शुल्क का भुगतान करने से छूट दी गई है।
आवेदन शुल्क का भुगतान केवल ऑनलाइन भुगतान मोड जैसे नेट-बैंकिंग, क्रेडिट/डेबिट कार्ड और भीम, यूपीआई आदि के माध्यम से किया जा सकता है।

Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 15 Years.
- Maximum Age: 24 Years.

Education Qualification
The candidate Should have passed 10th Class (with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks) with Science and Mathematics under 10 +2 System of education and passed ITI course in the relevant trade in Government recognized ITI & should possess Certificate issued by National Council for Vocational Training / State Council for Vocational Training in their relevant Trade

Selection Process
Selection will be on the basis of a merit list prepared in respect of all the candidates who apply against the notification. The merit list will be prepared on the basis of the percentage of marks in matriculation (with minimum 50% aggregate marks) + ITI marks in the trade in which the Apprenticeship is to be done. The panel will be on the basis of a simple average of marks in the matriculation and ITI.
