UGC NET June Session 2023: The National Testing Agency has released the latest notification for the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) June Session 2023. Aspiring candidates can apply for the UGC NET 2023 exam from May 10, 2023, to May 31, 2023. As per the notice available on the official website, ugcnet.nta.nic.in, the UGC NET June 2023 exam shall be conducted from June 13 to 22, 2023 in multiple shifts.
The NTA has been entrusted by the University Grants Commission (UGC) with the task of conducting UGCNET, which is a test to determine the eligibility of Indian nationals for ‘Assistant Professor’ and ‘Junior Research Fellowship and Assistant Professor in Indian universities and colleges. The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct UGC – NET June 2023 for ‘Junior Research Fellowship’ and eligibility for ‘Assistant Professor’ in 83 subjects in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode.

UGC NET June Session 2023 Online
Eligibility Criteria
There is no mention of an upper age limit for the Assistant Professor profile in the UGC NET eligibility requirements.
For the Junior Research Fellow (JRF), the maximum age is 30, and candidates must have earned a Master’s degree in one of the subjects with a minimum cumulative GPA of 55%. The SC/ST category’s overall score is 50%, in contrast.
Only those PhD holders whose Master’s degree was earned by September 19, 1991, were permitted to take the UGC NET exam.

Important Instructions
1. Only the website https://ugcnet.nta.nic.in/ will accept “Online” applications for the UGC-NET June 2023. Any other submission of the application form will not be accepted.
2. Each candidate should only submit one application. Candidates will never be permitted to submit more than one application form. Candidates who have filled out several application forms will face strict action, even after the application deadline.
3. The instructions provided in the Information Bulletin and on the NTA website must be strictly followed by candidates. Candidates who do not follow the rules will be automatically disqualified.
4. Candidates must verify that their personal email address and mobile number are used in the online application form.
