Indian Navy SSR Med Asst Recruitment 2024: Join Indian Navy Online applications are invited from unmarried male and unmarried female candidates (who fulfil eligibility conditions as laid down by the Government of India) for enrolment as sailors in the Medical Branch for SSR (Med Asst) in Nov 2024 batch. Indian Navy SSR Med Asst Age Limit 

• Minimum Age: 17 Years.
• Maximum Age: 21 Years.

Indian Navy SSR Med Asst Education Qualification

 SSR (Med Asst): Qualified in 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) from the Boards of School Education recognised by the Ministry of Education, Govt. of India with 50% marks in aggregate and a minimum of 40% in each subject.

Selection Process

The selection process of the SSR (Med Asst) 02/2024 batch will include two stages i.e. Stage 1 – Shortlisting based on marks obtained in 10+2 PCB, Stage II PFT, Written Examination and Recruitment Medical Examination (in designated centres of Indian Navy).

Stage-1 Shortlisting: Shortlisting of candidates would be based on the aggregate percentage obtained in Physics, Chemistry and Biology in the qualifying examination (10+2). Shortlisting will be carried out state-wise. The cut-off marks may vary from state to state as vacancies have been allocated in a state-wise manner, The shortlisted candidates would be issued call-up letters for Stage II – PFT, Written Examination and Recruitment Medical Examination.

Stage-II Physical Fitness Test (PFT): Qualifying in the Physical Fitness Test (PFT) is mandatory for selection. Candidates undergoing PFT will do so at their own risk.

Written Test: The question paper will be bilingual (English & Hindi) and objective type, comprising 100 questions divided into four sections (English, Science Biology and General Awareness/ Reasoning Ability) of 25 marks.

Indian Navy Entrance Test.

1. There will be 100 questions on the computer-based test, each worth one point.
2. The question paper will be objective type (multiple-choice) and multilingual (Hindi & English).
3. Four components in the exam: English, Science, Mathematics, and General Awareness.
